Bill Clinton is definitely the comeback kid. His speech to the convention last night was as good as it gets. Much attention has been paid to the fact that Barack has to win over Hillary supporters. What hasn’t been reported is that many of the Obama supporters, including me have been none to happy with Bill throughout this entire process. Last night he made the case for Barack Obama’s presidency in a clear and convincing manner. Well done. Unity is happening and I think our party is going to be ready to roll this November.

Beau Biden’s introduction of his father last night was incredibly moving. If Joe Biden is elected Vice-President, expect Beau to be appointed to his U.S. Senate seat.

Every day brings more and more celebs to the event. Got a photo with Obama girl on the way into the convention. Now when I say I saw people, my definition is they have to be within conversational distance, which would not include Katy Couric who I could see on the floor. I met Mark Green, John Lewis, the Governor of West Virginia, NBA star Kevin Johnson, Paul and Nancy Pelosi and had a great conversation with Senator Bob Casey. Also saw Dick Morris (really didn’t want to meet him), Barbara Boxer, Bill Richardson, David Gregory, Federico Pena, Hillary Rosen and Franco Harris.

Really looking forward to Obama’s speech tonight. Hope everybody enjoys it as much as I do!
