Senator Graham has been a leader in the Senate for the expansion of alternative energy including solar, wind and biofuels. in 2007 he filed SB 154 which would have mandated that Missouri utilities purchase or generate power from renewable sources. Graham also passed a unanimous resolution to oppose President Bush’s plan to sell a portion of the Mark Twain National Forest. Senator Graham successfully blocked legislation expanding CAFO’s (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations) and opposes their establishment next to state parks.
